4 Certifications and 0% Phthalates: Meeting EU & US Standards from Our Candle Factory
Over the past 18 months, we have seen a sharp rise in requests for certified, compliant candles—especially from European and West Coast US buyers. The reality is simple: if your candle cannot prove it is phthalate‑free and properly labeled, you cannot sell there.

Active Certifications You Can Rely On
CLP (Classification, Labelling and Packaging) – EU requirement. Every fragrance we use has a complete CLP notification. We provide compliant labels with hazard pictograms and full allergen lists, so your products are ready for European shelves.
CPNP (Cosmetics Products Notification Portal) – Required for candles classified as decorative or scented objects in certain EU member states. We handle the filing process for our private label clients, saving you time and regulatory risk.
Prop 65 (California) – Our candles contain no listed chemicals above safe harbor levels. We conduct independent annual testing to ensure ongoing compliance with one of the strictest consumer safety laws in the United States.
IFRA (International Fragrance Association) – All fragrance oils we use are IFRA‑certified for maximum safe use levels. We make no exceptions. This standard is the global benchmark for fragrance safety.
Zero Compromise on Harmful Substances
0% phthalates, 0% lead, 0% paraffin (unless requested).
Our standard wax blend is 95% soy or an 80/20 soy‑coconut mix. We do not use paraffin unless a client explicitly requests it. All wicks are cotton or paper‑core—no lead, no zinc, no exceptions.
Natural Wax Content: Up to 95%
For clean beauty retailers and eco‑conscious brands, we offer a dedicated 100% soy wax line as well as a 100% coconut wax line. Coconut wax delivers a superior cold throw but comes at a higher cost. Both options are non‑GMO and fully biodegradable.
Packaging Recyclability: 95% Post‑Consumer Recycled Cardboard
Our outer cartons are made from 95% recycled content and are fully recyclable. In 2023, we eliminated plastic shrink wrap entirely—saving an estimated 1.8 tons of plastic waste per year. Your candles arrive in packaging that reflects your brand’s environmental values.
Testing Frequency – Transparency by Design
We follow a strict testing schedule. Heavy metals are tested once per year by an independent lab. Phthalates are tested once per batch for every private label fragrance. Burn safety—including surface temperature, flame height, and self‑extinguish performance—is tested for every new vessel type.
This testing schedule ensures that every shipment meets the same high standard. No surprises. No last‑minute compliance failures.
