July 2026 marked a significant milestone for the European home fragrance industry with the debut of The London Home Fragrance Show, the UK's first exhibition created exclusively for the home fragrance sector. Held on 9–10 July at the Business Design Centre in London, the event was designed as a dedicated platform for the entire supply chain, bringing together brands, retailers, distributors, manufacturers, and suppliers for two days of sourcing, networking, and industry insight.
The timing of the event was strategic. With the UK home fragrance market now valued at more than £1 billion, demand for innovation, differentiation, and high-quality product development continues to accelerate. The July timing offered retailers an ideal window for planning and buying Christmas ranges. The show positioned itself as "the new annual meeting point for businesses seeking growth, inspiration, and international opportunity".
The exhibitor line-up featured both established names and emerging creators, including British Wax Limited, Cerabella, French Soaps, Maison Parfum, Millefiori Milano, Stoneglow Candles, The Fragrance Foundation, Voluspa, and Wildflower Botanicals. The event showcased a comprehensive spectrum of product categories, from luxury and artisanal candles to reed diffusers, room sprays, wax melts, and textile fragrances. Exhibitors also presented collections built around natural, organic, clean, and vegan formulations, alongside scent accessories, home décor, premium packaging providers, private-label manufacturers, and specialist B2B scenting services.
A free seminar theatre ran throughout the show, offering expert-led sessions on market trends, sustainability, packaging innovation, and digital retail challenges. Topics included "What's Next for the Home Fragrance Industry?", "Sustainability vs. Luxury," "The Rise of British Home Fragrance," "Sustainable Materials & Packaging," and "How to Sell Scent Online".
Rob Sherwood, Joint CEO of Honegger Ltd, commented: "Sourcing is becoming more selective, more intentional, and more commercially demanding. Retailers and buyers in the home fragrance sector are under more pressure than ever to find products that sell and stand out". The London Home Fragrance Show was organized by the Honegger Group, an international exhibition partner active since 1970 with offices in Milan, Düsseldorf, Paris, London, and Dubai.
For candle manufacturers, industry trade shows like the London Home Fragrance Show provide essential platforms for networking, trend discovery, and business development. Participation—whether as exhibitors or attendees—offers access to buyers, insights into competitor strategies, and visibility into emerging market trends.
